ABOUT THE FILM
Bilingual tour coordinator Ema was only supposed to escort some Japanese film producers to the location of a famed B-movie director's new horror flick in the outskirts of Sydney. But when crew members including the production interpreter suddenly fall ill after their arrival, Ema lands a ton of new responsibilities she didn't sign up for: smoothing out creative and cultural differences amongst the international crew–not to mention working with a bunch of oddballs in front of and behind the camera!

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Joseph Wong started out in the industry in 1998 as a production coordinator on Japanese television commercials filmed in Australia and New Zealand.
In 2001, he established Creative Engine J.O.E. where he has performed various roles including assistant director, line producer, video cameraman, coordinator and offline editor for numerous Japanese commercial productions. In 2004, Joseph won grand prize for his directorial debut film WAHORI DAYS at the sixth annual Indies Movie Festival in Tokyo. This film about Japanese working holiday makers in Australia was released on DVD/Video, cable TV and voted best film in the festival by the general public over a period of one year.
LINE DISCONNECT is Joseph’s first feature length film. His upcoming slate of projects include cybernetic thriller based on a computer game and the adaptation of ASSULT! HONEYMOON PANIC into a full length feature. Source: linedisconnect.com
