ABOUT THE FILM: BURDEN is an award winning film starring Grant Weiss and the voice of Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime of TRANSFORMERS) and the amazing orchestral score by Rob Simonsen (500 DAYS OF SUMMER). Excellent cinematography and award winning visual effects highlight this noirish sci-fi story of a lone "Watcher" with superpowers named Calik, who decides to disobey his orders to evacuate Earth and battle an alien invasion force in an attempt to protect humans and save our world. ABOUT THE DIRECTOR: Michael David Lynch is an independent director and producer living in Los Angeles. His award winning sci-fi short BURDEN was a favorite at multiple film festivals around the world. In 2010 Michael produced Insert for the internationally renowned director Paul Hunter (Bulletproof Monk). Michael is currently developing his first feature film and this summer a feature doc he produced titled 'DROP' will be released on 3D Blu-ray.
