ABOUT THE FILM: Set in 1999 at the Cobb High School cafeteria, Clarke Averbush, a movie geek, attempts to ask Becky Lauderdale, a popular cheerleader, to the STAR WARS: PHANTOM MENACE premiere during their lunch period. But first, Clarke has to overcome the adversity of the intimidating football jock, Brad Stokes, and a cafeteria food fight started by a held-back giant bearded punk rock student. Will the movie geek get the girl of his dreams before lunch is over?

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR: Peter Salomone is a graduate of the Wilkes Honors College at Florida Atlantic University and The Documentary Institute graduate program at the University of Florida. His graduate thesis film Civil Indigent (co-directed by Nicholas Corrao and David Hafter) received the Young Filmmaker Grand Jury Award at the 2011 Gasparilla International Film Festival (Tampa, Florida) and won second place in the documentary category at the 2011 College Television Awards. One thing he can claim as his own is his dominance at the local arcade as the reigning high score champion and mentor to the kids there. Michael also enjoys playing not one but two musical instruments. He played clarinet in school bands for seven years and played saxophone for three. He continues to play in his free time for inspiration and relaxation. Michael is also an outdoor enthusiast, and loves to hike and camp in national parks whenever he gets the chance. ABOUT THE DIRECTOR: Chris Tomkins is an Australian comedian who has been writing and performing comedy since the last millennium. He made his directorial debut with the short animation series “The Adventures of Terrence and Spider: Professional Bouncers” for Australia’s Comedy Channel in 2003, and has since gone to work on a number of internationally award-winning projects, ranging from short films to music videos. Tomkins’ experience covers everything from stand-up and sketch to musical comedy, but finds directing an exciting opportunity to tell other people to be funny. Tomkins is the founder of the comedy website, GORSKYS.COMedy and can sometimes be found playing comedy rock songs with his band, Man Bites God. Source: filmmaker
